ITG was able to bring tangible value to the client. A comprehensive RACI matrix was developed for 210 processes, involving 90+ roles and 2455 activities across five entities. It designed an IT system usage matrix that provided meaningful insights and helped identify high-risk manual activities targeted for automation. Also, it established a process repository, allowing process owners and key users to access and collaborate on all entities’ processes from one place.

The challenge for ITG’s client was to harmonize its global processes. The main challenges were building up clear RACI matrices, above all in newly acquired manufacturing plants. A centralized process repository did not exist in all departments and across all entities, hence causing a problem in efficiency and visibility.
These were some of the challenges that ITG implemented SAP Signavio to tackle by mapping and standardizing 210 processes within its core and supporting activities. A value-driven approach was followed to put a focus on the high-impact areas. There was a well-established robust governance framework that would help ensure consistency and control. The solution addressed format inconsistencies, enabling clear communication and understanding of process data.
