The customer produces building materials and is a global player facing major operational challenges caused by multiple acquisitions. It has an enormously complex IT landscape across 12 countries. The company, crippled by disconnected processes and fragmented systems, had very minimal visibility into process performance and couldn’t analyze and hence improve the workflows. Hence, streamlining operations and efficiency enhancement were essential requirements for the company at that point in time, accompanied by visibility.
In the framework of these challenges, ITG implemented an end-to-end process mining solution using SAP Signavio. More than 90,000 Order-to-Cash cases were analyzed in this case, and our team identified bottlenecks in processes and opportunities for their improvement. We held a number of collaborative workshops and conducted rigorous analyses to align them with SAP Business Process Blueprints. By leveraging the power of process mining, we provided data-driven insights into process performance, thus empowering our client to make informed decisions toward process optimization.
