Our client, a global media and entertainment leader, was struggling with some serious challenges in their S/4HANA transformation journey. At the same time, it would be a greenfield implementation that would involve consolidating data from multiple disparate systems and managing heterogeneous data format complexity. Another challenge was coordinating with a large number of stakeholders for such a huge project. Some facts that make it even more complex are the huge volume of data with 1 million master records of media products, 5,000 vendor masters, and 10,000 customer records.
ITG had a strategic approach to overcoming such challenges. We thoroughly planned and executed a data migration process that could support the seamless transfer of 38 critical objects into production without any issues. It was this broad expertise in project management for large-scale projects and vast data sets that helped toward it. Rigorous quality checks and audit standards were followed throughout the process.
